Product creation was the passion he wished to pursue though, leading to the partnership with his brother and founding the Hugs & Co. brand, which has been followed by the creation of several other fashion labels including Busby Boots.
Hugo studied business where he developed his interest in entrepreneurship. Like his brother he spent time working with some FMCG labels enhancing their new product development, packaging concepts and marketing strategies. It was his shared drive to create a new brand from the ground up that led him into the brotherly partnership with Benjie where they set about creating Hugs & Co. and their subsequent portfolio of labels such as Busby Boots.
