Eucalypt Co. is an Edmonton, Alberta based event and home decor company specializing in versatile, long lasting, and affordable decor. Starting in February 2020 with only one product, our standard eucalyptus garlands, Eucalypt Co. became the go to store for affordable wedding greenery in Alberta. Our product line has since expanded to include artificial and preserved florals, other home decor, and housewares.
Our Story
In 2019 I was planning my wedding. My Pinterest board had it all, I just needed to find everything I needed to make it happen, and stay within budget. Eucalyptus was at the beginning of entering the wedding scene and was hard to find. In fact, I was quoted $35/foot of real eucalyptus by a florist. I decided there must be a better way.
After a very intense hunt, I found our garland manufacturer. I ordered about 8 times the garlands most brides need in order to be able to make the purchase. We truly had a eucalyptus FILLED day, and it was everything I wanted and more.
After the wedding I quickly learned that other brides were facing the same issue as I did, so I decided to but my business degree to use and started Eucalypt Co. with the full support of my husband, Ben. In the beginning we could only order a few hundred at a time, we had presales and email lists, and when a shipment would arrive I would have it all packed up and picked up within a few days. It was crazy.
In February 2020 I launched our website, eucalyptco.com, that day was so exciting for many reasons but it signified the real start for us.
Since then we have slowly added more products, had a baby, moved locations, and will continue to grow our product lines in both home and event decor!
